Artist Lab Privacy Policy

Your references stay on your device

Artist Lab does not require an account. Projects, palettes, image adjustments, imported reference images, and thumbnails are stored locally on your device during the MVP.

Photos

The app only accesses images you explicitly select through the iOS photo picker. Imported photos are copied into the app's private local storage so saved projects can be reopened.

Color analysis

Automatic palette extraction, manual sampling, Color Lab, Paint Lab, local color names, and exports run on the device. The MVP does not send photos, palettes, or color analyses to an Artist Lab server.

Preferences

Appearance and automatic extraction preferences are stored locally using system app storage and can be changed inside Artist Lab Settings.

Analytics and advertising

This version does not include advertising, behavioral tracking, or third-party analytics.

Deleting your data

You can delete local projects, palettes, and imported photos from Settings. Because the MVP does not use accounts or server storage, Artist Lab cannot remotely access or delete data that only exists on your device.
