Terms of Use

Last updated: 5 September 2026

These terms apply to the MyMood app for iPhone and to the MyMood Pro subscription. By downloading or using MyMood, you agree to them.

MyMood is distributed through Apple's App Store, so Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement also applies. Where these terms and Apple's EULA disagree, Apple's EULA governs the licence to use the app.

Your licence

MyMood is licensed to you, not sold. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, as described in Apple's Standard EULA. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

Your content is yours

Everything you write, record or add in MyMood belongs to you. MyMood has no account system and no server, so your entries are never uploaded, reviewed or moderated by us. We claim no rights over them and we have no access to them.

Backups are your responsibility

Because your diary is stored only on your device, it is your responsibility to keep a device or iCloud backup. If you delete the app, erase your data from Settings, or lose or reset your device without a backup, the diary cannot be recovered — not by you and not by us.

MyMood Pro subscription

MyMood Pro is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks voice notes, unlimited photos and reminders, all-time insights and the full set of covers, papers, ornaments and rulings. It is offered on a monthly and a yearly plan.

If a subscription ends, MyMood keeps everything you already created visible and readable. You simply stop being able to add new content beyond the free limits.

MyMood is not a medical service

MyMood is a personal journal. It is not a medical device, it does not provide diagnosis, treatment or clinical advice, and its charts are a reflection of what you typed, nothing more. Do not use MyMood as a substitute for professional care. If you are struggling, please contact a qualified health professional or your local emergency service.

Acceptable use

Use MyMood lawfully and for your own personal journalling. Do not use it to store content that is illegal to possess in your jurisdiction, and do not attempt to interfere with the app's operation or with Apple's purchase mechanisms.

Availability and changes

MyMood is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Features may be added, changed or removed between versions, and support for older iOS releases may end. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your country — if you are in the European Union, your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

Changes to these terms

Updated terms are published on this page with a new date at the top. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rules of the country in which you reside.
